Mavzi has joined me on my travels in Austria, with a little Quivori magic overlooking the lake and mountains at Hallstatt.
I shared this image on Instagram and TikTok as a small update from my trip. It brings Mavzi into a real place for a change, surrounded by autumn colours, mountain scenery and reflections on the water.
This is a piece of travel artwork created for the social posts, rather than an illustration from one of the published books.
Meet the little creature behind the adventure
If you are meeting him for the first time, Mavzi is Quivori’s orange companion with two tiny wings. Younger readers can join him in Mavzi and the Missing Star, a bedtime adventure for ages 3–7.
For readers aged 6+, Don’t Look Down and Don’t Turn Around invite you to make choices, look for picture clues and discover different endings.
Explore all four Quivori books, or meet Gary Alker, the author and creator of Quivori.
Follow Quivori Books on Instagram and TikTok for more book news and glimpses of Mavzi’s world.
